ABOUT LAI-LIN ROBINSON

I\'m a Performance Artist, Creative Producer and Arts Advocate who is passionate about performing and producing art that transforms our lives and mindsets in a powerful and positive and way. My core values of Integrity, Community, Empathy, Love and Fierceness ground me in my work and fuels my motivation. I\'m originally from Washington, DC now living in New York City. I\'m a city girl through and through! For over 15 years I\'ve been performing on stage and in front of the camera as a dancer and model and for the past 9 years I began incorporating my work as a Producer and Arts Manager. I call myself the \"LINK\" between The Performer and The Producer as my experiences as a Performer fully support and inform my mission to produce and support artists in a equitable way. It’s been a pleasure to work with nationally and internationally known dance and theater companies such as Urban Bush Women, Alvin, Ailey, Théâtre XIV and most recently over 100 Renowned Artists as part of the 2021 NYC FREE Festival on Little Island (American Modern Opera Company, Robert Garland, Misty Copeland, Ronald K. Brown, Jennifer Newman, Drew Dollaz, Omari Wiles, Ali Stroker, Cecile McLorin Salvant and many more). Lai-Lin received her BA in Communications and Media Studies with a Minor in Spanish Language from Fordham University and was a 2016 New York Community Trust Fellow. Her commitment to undoing racism and work towards equity in the arts, specifically dance, is supported by her training with the People’s Institute for Survival & Beyond and as a multi-year alum of UBW’s Summer Leadership Institute. She has had extensive dance and performance training from the Alvin Ailey School, Orlando Ballet and Broadway Dancer Center. Her performance and commercial credits include FUBU, Century 21, Malia Mills, Théâtre XIV, ES Collection, New York Fashion Week, Jack Daniels, Bloomingdales and John Legend.
