As a Principal Software Engineer, I am responsible for the design and development of UI components for a no-code UI designer tool that enables product teams across Deltek to create user interfaces using the UI Service. The UI Service runs directly in developers\' browsers, providing a flexible, browser-based solution for Deltek\'s product teams. I design scalable, reusable UI components and develop backend functionality that integrates these components with data services for dynamic, data-driven UI rendering.Key Responsibilities:• Designing scalable and reusable UI components that enable product teams to efficiently structure user interfaces across Deltek’s product ecosystem.• Developing backend API services using TypeScript and Helidon (Java) to support the dynamic rendering of UI components and integrate with external data sources via a Content Delivery Network (CDN).• Ensuring seamless communication between backend services and UI components to deliver data-driven user interfaces without direct database connectivity.• Utilizing Keycloak for user access management (UAM) to handle authentication and authorization across the UI Service.• Deploying the UI Service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to ensure performance, scalability, and availability across Deltek.• Mentoring junior developers, providing technical guidance, and promoting best practices in UI design and backend development.
