ABOUT LAETITIA ROCHA
As a leader in the food industry, my aim is to improve human, social, economic, and environmental sustainability through the application of science and design thinking. Over the years, my analytical skills have enabled the creation of multiple solutions, from business models to change strategies. As an R&D professional and Registered Nutritionist, I have managed a broad range of projects for several food companies in the field of cereal science, from front-end innovation and technology innovation to product launches across multiple diverse geographies, including Africa. At PepsiCo, one of the most significant programmes I have been involved with is leading an internal culture transformation initiative which spans Global R&D and the entire PepsiCo organization. I led the strategic planning effort with a cross functional team and am currently managing the deployment with Region Teams around the world. I am also very passionate about Talent Development and Diversity and Inclusion, as demonstrated with the development of the PepsiCo UK R&D student programme, through mentoring in DE & I, STEM and women empowerment initiatives, and a leadership role as a School Governor.
