Cosmo Technologies, is an innovative company specializing in the development of AOSP for smartwatches. Founded with a mission to enhance wearable technology, Cosmo Technologies has sold nearly 100K smartwatches and maintains a robust subscription base of about 50K active customers. The company is at the forefront of integrating advanced technology into everyday wearables, ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences.As a Lead Platform Engineer and Solution Architect at Cosmo Technologies, I manage a team of 10 developers. My responsibilities include scaling our system architecture to support our growing user base and ensuring the robustness and efficiency of our platform.The technology stack we employ comprises the PERN stack (PostgreSQL, Express.js, React, Node.js), and we leverage AWS for our cloud infrastructure. Our development process is supported by Jira for project management, DigitalOcean for additional cloud services, Miro for collaborative planning, Figma for UI/UX design, and MQTT for reliable messaging in our IoT environment.
