ABOUT LADONTE LEE

LaDonte Lee is a servant leader, visionary, and systems thinker with a proven track record across the nonprofit and government sectors. With a deep commitment to education, youth development, mental health wellness, justice reform, and community development. LaDonte is known for centering equity and impact in all his work. He also brings a strong interest in public policy, health equity, and workforce development in urban communities.Currently, Lee serves as the Judicial Program Liaison [Western] for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC. His focus will be on leading initiatives supporting dually adjudicated and justice involved youth across the Western Region of North Carolina. The role bridges health plan operations across Medicaid programs- Healthy Blue and Healthy Blue Care Together—while fostering strong partnerships with law enforcement, community organizations, and internal business units. Championing accessibility, equity, and culturally sensitive healthcare outreach, manage program deliverables, mentor junior teammates, and represent BCBS NC at in-community events.He is also the Managing Director for MenTouring Our Brothers, Inc, where he helps elevate the voice and value of youth and families facing barriers to socioeconomic mobility in Charlotte.LaDonte earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in nonprofit management from Keller Graduate School of Management.Beyond his professional work, he enjoys life with his family, mentoring and uplifting brothers through M.OB. Inc, traveling, serving as a missionary, and staying grounded in purpose while making meaningful impact.
