I assist the director of marketing at a local solar company in Washington, DC. I launched a project sharing the stories of community members who\'ve gone solar with Uprise, and travel around the city interviewing these customers, taking photos, and writing up their stories. I also manage our blog, post on social media, keep our website updated, answer phones, and manage new leads as the inside sales team member. In this role, I\'m bringing together my experience in renewable energy journalism and my days installing solar on rooftops.
