Within my role as a Graduate Level Therapist with PPCH, I am working with an assortment of clients in community-based, office, and remote Telehealth settings. The primary population PPCH serves as an organizations is clients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), but the organizations work also extends to Medicaid recipients, court-monitored supervised visitation services, and adventure therapy among other speciality services.

ABOUT LACHLAN WEST
A lot of my previous work experience and academic background centers around a common theme: communication. This has led to the development of many interpersonal professional skills which I implement into my work environment.Recently, my work has been within the mental health field as a graduate-level Counseling student, mental health case manager, school counseling practicum student, and now as an unlicensed therapist. In seeking diverse experiential learning settings during my program, my goal has been to better understand populations with whom I have not yet had the pleasure of working thus far. My background in a community mental health agency setting has prepared me for the nuance and holistic approach required in working with multicultural and diverse populations across various socioeconomic statuses. My hope is to continue to build upon my current understanding of modern mental health treatment interventions and adapt my skillset across various populations.
