Serves as a staff liaison to Department of Motor Vehicles headquarters at the direction of the CEO or Board to implement programs. Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of programs for DMV regions and field offices. Manages all organization events including board meetings and lobby days. Develop and implement additional programs in advocating for organ, eye and tissue donation in California. Responsible for the Donate Life California Organ, Eye and Tissue Donor Registry database. This includes managing training documents, addressing trouble shooting, and providing training when needed. Manages any additional development to the database and accompanying applications. Ensures integrity of information in database and work with contractors to coordinate with database redesign efforts. Monitor database and responds immediately when technical issues prevent online registration. Develops and implements public relations and marketing campaigns promoting Donate Life California and other related initiatives. Plans and secures press events and interviews throughout the year as related to education, outreach, and legislative activities. Develops press releases and media messaging for the CEO and Board members. Ensures the development and branding of all Donate Life California presentations. Manages team to maintain Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and other social media accounts and content. Collects, develops, and produces written stories and videos from donors, recipients, families, and living donors. Promotes national campaigns consistent with Donate Life America messaging, including National Donate Life Month, National Eye Donor Month, National Donor Sabbath, National Donor Day and others. Acts as CEO representative for meetings and conferences on behalf of the Donate Life California at the direction of the CEO. Develop support materials for CEO in meetings, board events and updates and others as needed. Assist CEO in legislative and policy efforts.
