Executing work based on CMMS schedules and completing work records. • Performing in-house PM’s on lab equipment such as vacuum pump oil changes, UV bulb changes, freezer defrosts, etc. • Managing vendors that provide calibration and maintenance services to labs. • Assisting with management of the environmental monitoring software and calibration of sensors. • Maintaining a full inventory of lab equipment using CMMS Software. • Ensuring all GxP and non-GxP lab equipment are tagged with IDs. • Performing audits of lab equipment to ensure records are up to date. • Coordinating with lab equipment owners concerning repairs and delays as necessary. • Ensuring all GxP laboratory equipment maintenance is performed according to written SOPs. • Ensuring all calibration events are performed in compliance with NIST, CFR, cGMP, and or any other regulations. • Shipping pipettes and other equipment that can only be maintained/calibrated offsite. • Updating or creating SOP’s as needed. • Consulting and assisting with change control and keeping software systems in a validated state. • Managing service contracts and warranty information for all assets in the CMMS database.
