The primary mission of the Genentech Research & Early Development (gRED) organization is to discover and rigorously assess promising molecule candidates for viable therapeutic benefits. The gRED Business Operations department is responsible for oversight of key business processes, technological solutions and employee communication management and engagement to advance the gRED’s mission. Currently leading the following initiatives: • Define and implement a Knowledge Management Strategy across gRED that enables our Scientific community to seamlessly and securely Store, Search and Share Knowledge and make amazing new drug discoveries for our patients possible • Drive an initiative to provide advanced Portfolio insights to the gRED Leadership Team that enables them to make the right portfolio level decisions on time • Deploy SmartSearch as the primary Knowledge Management platform that allows the scientific community to easily find knowledge when they need it • Build a gRED Space Planning Dashboard to provide an accurate picture of both Office and Lab space to the gRED Leadership Team • Build a gRED Staffing Dashboard to provide an accurate picture of current and future staffing levels to the gRED Leadership Team • Drive the rollout of Slack as the primary collaboration platform to share both implicit and tacit knowledge • Deployment of Roche Collaboration Suite, including Google Shared Drive to store knowledge In addition, I also volunteer on the following programs: • Facilitator of a gWISE POD to provide a male perspective on how to effectively be an ally to Women in Science • Represent gRED on the Genentech Sustainability Council • Development of a new Genentech Rotation Experience that will provide a single avenue for all employees to identify rotation opportunities across the enterprise
