About Shelby Labanz
As a Financial Crimes Analyst at Fifth Third, I leverage my project management skills and criminal justice knowledge to protect our customers from fraud and identity theft. I collaborate with a team of analysts and investigators to detect, prevent, and resolve financial crimes, using various tools and techniques, such as data analysis, risk assessment, and fraud detection software. I am passionate about fighting human trafficking and advancing counterterrorism and homeland security. I am currently completing my master\'s degree in criminal justice with a concentration in this field at Southern New Hampshire University. I also volunteer with The Knoble, a nonprofit organization that works on human trafficking prevention and awareness initiatives. My goal is to pursue a career in federal law enforcement and contribute to the war on human crimes.
