About Laana Abutaha
University of Toledo Honors Graduate from the College of Natural Science and Mathematics with a Bachelors degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry along with a concentration in pre-physician assistant studies. I currently serve as an Emergency Department medical scribe where I assist medical providers with documentation of patient encounters using EMR. I document the patient’s HPI, ROS, physical exam, diagnosis, and treatment plan. I was fortunate enough to be trained and educated by various healthcare providers and volunteers on proper patient interviewing, diagnosing and even physical examinations. I look forward to serving the community as a PA in a team-based and multidisciplinary approach. I am a very enthusiastic and hardworking person that will surely bring energy to whatever comes my way!
