ABOUT LAURA QUINN

As the daughter of engineers, I have inherited an interest in buildings. My parents will often take me on tours of London to show me their projects. My curiosity leads me to learn more about the history of the areas we visit, whether through local history books or searching internet archives. Doing so from childhood gave me a profound interest in local history, art, and culture. My interest grew from the individual buildings to the people that use them, resulting in a strong desire for collaborative team-based roles. Having worked in fast-paced customer service and office administration within the engineering sector to a team of over 400 staff, my interest in both people and the built environment has only increased overtime. I take a proactive approach to work and my own development, and am eager to undertake training to further my skills, as demonstrated by my Level 3 PA, Admin, and Secretarial Diploma and membership of EA How To Plus. I have a solid foundation in office administration, including document control, financial processing, internal communications, inventory and calendar management. Furthermore, I have extensive experience in multitasking to support senior leadership, including Presidents, Directors, and large cross-functional teams, as well as assisting junior members of staff in their professional development. I have been responsible for pulling confidential reports from HR databases and CRM systems, managing complex schedules, preparing agendas, coordinating meetings, and recording accurate minutes to support effective governance and decision-making. I am technically proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Umbraco, and Canva.
