ABOUT KATHARINE ZAUN

Driven by my passion for lifelong learning and the creative process, I have a range of experience, from teaching and curriculum development to community engagement and human-centered design. My career path has been nonlinear, which has given me a diverse skill set, but the goal has always been the same—create meaningful work that inspires others to learn and grow. As an educator and learning designer, I\'ve dedicated the past six years to developing and supporting learners in all aspects of growth, from academic and professional to social emotional. I\'ve strategically partnered with colleagues and community stakeholders in both formal and informal education contexts to implement and manage projects, and I\'ve facilitated classrooms, workshops, and trainings on topics like writing, collaboration, and innovation leadership. Skilled in adult learning theories and pedagogies, my style is holistic, experiential, and positive. As a writer, I have experience creating smart, engaging content across sectors and writing award-winning grant proposals. I also write poetry, an essay here and there, and some flash fiction.
