ABOUT KYUNGYUL KIM

I am currently Head of the AI & Robotics R&D Center in Silicon Valley.Our R&D Center focuses on Agentic AI and Physical AI (Robot Foundation Models), with an emphasis on deploying embodied intelligence in real-world industrial environments. We evaluate emerging robotics and AI technologies, run technical validations, and translate frontier research into scalable systems.Over the past decade, I have worked across computer vision, multi-modal AI, and generative models, leading teams that built and deployed production-scale AI systems. More recently, my work has centered on embodied AI/Physical AI — integrating perception, reasoning, and action into unified architectures.A significant part of my role involves identifying and evaluating emerging robot intelligence technologies across Silicon Valley and North America, working closely with startups, research labs, and enterprise teams. In selected cases, we move beyond evaluation to co-develop and validate these technologies toward real-world deployment across North America and Asia.I am particularly interested in long-horizon memory architectures, world models, and how foundation models extend beyond language into physical systems.
