   Q joined Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) to lead a newly created department responsible for directing and handling all actuarial matters for the Network, including self-insured health and welfare programs covering over lives as well as retirement benefit plans (DB & DC) with combined assets of over $5B. Under his leadership, the Actuarial Services Team has successfully constructed in-house consulting functions providing actuarial and analytical services for various stakeholders across the organization, achieving significant cost savings via delivering strategic and value-add services in a timely manner. For example, with his advice, HMH has streamlined retirement benefit programs (e.g, merged 27 plans into 3) and implemented several changes which resulted in reduction of the annual contribution requirements to $0.
