Started from a small internship backing up financial statements and performing admin work. Moving up to non-profit accounting for a well respected company in a city foreign to me. Went through the Public Accounting route with taxes, and ended up private for the main bulk of my accounting years. Very much a uphill climb but I\'d do it all again in a heartbeat! I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone, supporting diversity and inclusion because all of this has facilitated my growth and who I am today.
