Dear Hiring Manager,I am a Ukrainian national currently residing in Trieste, Italy, under temporary protection status, which grants me the full legal right to live and work in Italy.I am a marine Chief Engineer, having dedicated my entire professional life to marine engineering and vessel operations.I began my career as a cadet and progressed step by step through the engine department, working as an oiler, Fourth Engineer, Third Engineer, Second Engineer, and for the past five years as a Chief Engineer with Maersk. This career path has given me a deep, practical understanding of ship machinery, operational discipline, and the responsibilities that come with managing complex technical systems at sea.Throughout my career, I have been directly involved in the operation, maintenance, and overhaul of main and auxiliary engines, pumps, compressors, and other critical onboard systems. I am experienced in planned maintenance systems, troubleshooting under operational pressure, and performing major overhauls, including disassembly and reassembly of pumps and main engine components.
