   As the Workforce Strategies Complaints & Investigations Strategist for Washington State, I lead statewide efforts to strengthen workplace culture, elevate accountability, and improve how complaints and investigations are handled across more than 60 state agencies.In this role, I serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders and the Governor’s Office. I provide strategic communication and process guidance on high-profile workforce issues, including policies, workplace investigations, systemic complaint trends, and employee experience challenges. I played a key role in rebranding our department, helping to reshape our mission, vision, and name to more clearly reflect the values, direction, and impact of the work we do. This process involved cross-agency collaboration, communications strategy, and aligning leadership vision with workforce reality.I develop and manage enterprise-wide frameworks that improve the quality and consistency of investigations, while also advising on workforce strategy initiatives that support historically underrepresented groups, including veterans, LGBTQIA+ employees, and military families.I lead inter-agency collaboration efforts, convening investigators, HR leaders, and legal teams to align best practices, surface insights, and create shared accountability standards. I also oversee the development of investigative guidelines, reporting protocols, and data systems to track statewide trends and inform policy decisions.As part of OFM, I manage and steward budgets and resources that support this work to ensure our strategy is not only effective, but financially aligned with state priorities. My role is equal parts systems architect, culture strategist, and trusted communicator, bringing together people, policy, and process to strengthen trust in the public workforce.
