About Kyra Birmingham
I am a fourth-year photojournalism student at Penn State University. I spent the first two years of my college career at the Fashion Institute of Technology where I received my associate\'s degree in photography. While there, I took classes regarding lighting, design, film, and many other aspects of fine art photography. I also worked as a photographer for the Athletic Department. Now, at Penn State, I am working with Onward State as a photographer. I hope to further my knowledge of the sports and news industries in my next few semesters at Penn State. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had thus far and am always looking for more experience in sports media.
