About Kylie Burnside Anfin
My career began at The Walt Disney Company, where I got an early crash course in service excellence and company culture. I learned how intentional recognition and moments of appreciation can completely change how people feel and connect, both guests and team members alike. That early exposure to building culture and meaningful connection has shaped every role I’ve taken since.After Disney, I joined Formula PR (now Havas Formula) in San Diego, supporting a Vice President in the Strategic Services Division. The fast-paced agency environment sharpened my copywriting and storytelling skills, taught me to manage competing priorities and support leadership well. I also found myself drawn to fostering connection internally — helping with team events, newsletters, and recognition programs that strengthened culture.In 2015, I joined Darren Hardy LLC as a part-time social media contractor and was almost let go in my first year on the team! The standards were high, and the expectations even higher. But I leaned in, took the feedback seriously, and most importantly, didn’t give up.Over the next decade, I grew alongside the company, stepping into whatever role was needed most at the time that I could support: Social Media to Executive Assistant to Director of Team Success to VP of Operations to VP of Community Experience. And most recently, and possibly the most surprising, VP of Marketing.That journey built a career grounded in reliability, adaptability, and impact. I’ve learned how to lead teams through change, stay calm under pressure, and build systems that help both people and ideas thrive.Today, I focus on creating marketing campaigns and strategies that connect creativity with structure, ensuring our efforts are effective and aligned with our mission to impact the lives of high-achievers at scale.AI has accelerated how I learn and lead in this new marketing role. It has helped our small but mighty team operate faster and smarter, even in positions that previously were beyond our experience and expertise. I’m proud of what we have achieved in the past couple of years and grateful for the multiple incredible contract partners who help us extend our reach and multiply our impact. Most of all, I love the people I work arm-in-arm with each day and the business leaders we serve every day.
