About Kyle Z.
My career has unfolded across education, strategy, and public service, with experience in business development, academia, and international engagement in Europe. Much of my work has focused on problem-solving in ambiguous environments, where economic, political, cultural, and security considerations must be weighed simultaneously.I am a full-time business faculty member at Santa Rosa Junior College, where I design and teach curriculum that develops students’ critical thinking, judgment, and long-term decision-making skills. Personal finance is a particular passion. My teaching integrates economics, history, and leadership to help students understand not only how markets and organizations function, but how they evolve and why they sometimes fail.Having lived and worked in both Europe and the United States, my academic interests center on economic and military history, as well as the changing nature of work, warfare, and technology.
