I manage a team of catastrophe modelers that analyze American Family\'s exposure to natural catastrophe risk. Used R (Rmarkdown) to create a website providing continuous analysis of geophysical perils, such as exposure to hail, wind, earthquakes, wildfires, hurricanes, etc. Used GIS extensively in Geopandas (Python), ArcMap, leaflet (R), and ggplot (R). Modeled American Family\'s book using AIR and RMS catastrophe software. Dedicated three hours a week to talent development of my team. Created several automations to produce a daily comprehensive risk report with as many as 70 slides by 8 AM. Entrepreneurial mindset. Continued work with the University of Arizona on a joint hurricane prediction model using machine learning techniques. This work was highlighted on CNN, Forbes, local TV and radio appearances, among others.
