About Kyle Petsch
With over 40 years of experience in the tractor pulling industry, I bring a deep passion and wealth of knowledge to the sport of truck and tractor pulling. Starting at just 7 years old, I’ve built a career behind the wheel of a wide range of competitive pulling vehicles, from garden tractors to turbine-powered modified tractors. I’ve served in various leadership roles, including Vice-President, board member and tech official of various organizations gaining invaluable experience in event management, working with promoters, and resolving competitor concerns.I’ve spent the last 27 years running turbine-powered modified tractors, achieving several points championships and runner-up finishes the Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pullers Association (OTTPA) and other organizations. My proudest accomplishments include winning the OTTPA Modified Tractor Points Championships in 2009, 2010, 2025 and being named OTTPA Puller of the Year in 2015. Tractor pulling isn’t just a hobby, it’s a lifelong commitment that I continue to pursue with dedication and enthusiasm.

As the Chief Operating officer for the Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pulling Association I am responsible for the production of our yearly Thunder in the Dirt pulling series. I manage a team that works with our promoters, sponsors, pullers and production teams to produce over 50 events a year.
