Kyle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate with a trauma-informed, relational approach to healing and growth. He believes that meaningful change happens through authentic connection — and that the therapeutic relationship itself is one of the most powerful tools in the room.Before entering clinical practice, Kyle served for 20 years in the United States Air Force, including assignments at senior levels of leadership. He knows firsthand what it\'s like to carry high responsibility, manage prolonged stress, and support others through difficulty while quietly managing your own. After earning his Master\'s degree in Counseling, he went on to serve as a counselor and mentor at the U.S. Air Force Academy — supporting young adults in one of the most demanding academic and professional environments in the country — while also leading a organization.Today, he brings that lived experience directly into his clinical work. He understands the culture, the pressure, and what it actually costs to ask for help — which is part of what makes working with him feel different.Kyle\'s clinical interests center on nervous system regulation and experiential healing, with a particular focus on equine-assisted therapy informed by the Natural Lifemanship framework. He integrates evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing with somatic-based work that supports the mind-body connection.He is also a dedicated advocate for neurodiversity and autism support — both as a clinician and as the parent of a child with autism. This experience gives him a grounded, personal understanding of the challenges and strengths that come with navigating a world not always built for every kind of mind.
