About Kyle Kopecky

My current role is serving as an Associate for J.P. Morgan’s CCBSI group based in Los Angeles. My role entails covering the firm’s U.S. Diversified client base for the West region which focuses on providing services in Leveraged Finance and Corporate Client Banking. Prior to JPM, I served as a Capital Markets Analyst for Santander Consumer USA where I worked on 15 ABS securitization transactions totaling $19.9 BN. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wichita State University with a triple major in Accounting, Finance, and Economics in addition to a minor in University Honors. During my time at Wichita State, I was able to gain valuable work experience both domestically and abroad in various business disciplines including Tax, Trading, and Portfolio Management. I aspire to work towards earning my CPA/CFA designations and eventually attend a Top 10 Business School for my J.D./M.B.A. My specialties include: leading groups when faced with a difficult task to accomplish; working with Microsoft Suite software; networking with individuals who are in the industry I plan to work in; being a devoted scholar by taking my studies seriously and researching topics to expand my understanding and knowledge of current events and industries; being an effective communicator to my peers and team members and when giving presentations; paying attention to details; and having a strong work ethic while being very driven and always keeping the end-goal in focus.

   As a Stanford University University Innovation Fellow, I am a positive change agent on Wichita State University\'s campus. My main goals as a Stanford Fellow include enhancing WSU\'s Finance program through developing strategic partnerships and curriculum development in addition to promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship on WSU\'s campus.My main project involved working with Dean of Business School as well as several Business School Representatives from the WSU Foundation to develop additional business partnerships with Bloomberg LP and Wall Street Prep for the strategic vision of the Barton School. In addition, I also took part in various activities on campus including leading Design Thinking Workshops as well as Airbus’ Innovation Marketplace event.
