About Kyle J. Rose
Ten years after founding his consultancy, Kyle Jacques Rose continues to focus on innovation in chronic disease therapy, community engagement and collaboration, and medical technology awareness/training. His twenty years of experience combine the world of medtech startups and healthcare consumerization with traditional big industry medical device know-how. He is a passionate diabetes patient advocate and contributes to many global nonprofit organizations including the International Diabetes Federation where he is on the Board of Directors. Several of the entrepreneurial ventures in which he has participated in have resulted in major acquisitions or global agreements: mySugr - Roche (2017), Team Type 1 - Novo Nordisk (2011), and TheraSense - Abbott Labs (2004). He takes great pride in knowing that products and services he helped design, shape, and deliver are now being distributed to fellow people with diabetes all around the world. His work strives to bring together community at a grassroots level and create new models for healthcare stakeholder collaboration. Kyle Jacques is particularly interested in digital health adoption, perhaps best exemplified by his work at mySugr, developer of the world’s most popular diabetes application. Living most of his life in between Europe and America, he deeply values the importance of culture and language as it relates to understanding community needs and creating sustainable change.
