About Kyle McLaughlin
Kyle is the leader of a best in class FinOps Portfolio for a Fortune 5 organization. As the Director of FinOps Engineering for CVS Health, Kyle oversees an organization of engineers, operations, product management and analytics to help CVS unlock the full business value of its Public and Private cloud investment. Kyle works closely with Procurement, Finance and Business Units Executives to manage cloud as a core business function—not just an IT expense. His work supports the management and optimization of hundreds of millions in annual cloud spend while enabling teams to keep moving quickly and innovating.Before CVS Health, Kyle held a strategy leadership role at the FinOps Foundation, where he partnered with cloud providers, SaaS companies, and enterprise teams to advance cloud financial management practices. That experience continues to shape how he approaches FinOps today: grounded in real-world execution, not just theory.Kyle is a regular speaker on FinOps and cloud financial management and enjoys helping teams move from reactive cost control toward more proactive, value-focused decision-making.
