I’m a communications and sports media professional and recent Ohio University graduate (B.S. in Communication, minor in Political Science), with certificates in Social Media, Journalism, and Sports Management (Class of 2025). I’ve always been drawn to sports. First as an athlete, and now as a storyteller focused on capturing the emotion, energy, and meaning behind every moment of competition.Over the past 7–8 years, I’ve covered a wide range of sports, including soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball, football, track, and field hockey. My work spans broadcast and digital: producing and anchoring news/sports packages featured on WOUB (PBS) and YouTube; sideline reporting and color commentary on ESPN+; and creating platform-native content for Instagram, X, and TikTok—from hype videos to longer-form storytelling edits. I also serve as co-director and host of “OUrpodcast” for Ohio’s Division I hockey team, where I interview coaches and players and help shape episodes that keep audiences engaged.Alongside content creation, I’ve helped curate social media posts for Ohio Hockey with a focus on maximizing reach and engagement. This includes planning what to post, when to post, and how to tailor content to the audience and platform. I’m passionate about finding the right shot, crafting a strong narrative, and editing with purpose. I love building stories that make people feel something. I enjoy collaborating with athletes, coaches, and creative teams, and I thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.Beyond media, I’ve also been involved in multiple fundraising efforts during my time at Ohio University, helping support campus and community initiatives through events and outreach. These are experiences that strengthened my communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.I’m currently seeking full-time opportunities in sports media, broadcasting, and communications. I’m also open to broader communications roles where I can bring strong storytelling, production, and social content skills. I’m willing to relocate and open to opportunities nationwide.
