In collaboration with the Director of Philanthropy and Engagement (DPE), enhance, grow, and maintain development and fundraising programs to expand sources of revenue.• Project manage fundraising events, including managing cross-functional stakeholders, setting clear expectations, managing budgets and sponsorships, driving alignment on event strategy and delivery, and tracking effectiveness.Oversee and manage over $250k a year in event revenue. • Manage a portfolio of corporate and individual donors and prospects, including but not limited to event sponsorships.• Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team on social media and direct mail campaigns that focus on fundraising.• Create, launch, and manage our monthly donor group that GPSPCA can count on for donations and build the funding program. • Manage tours for donors and prospects and develop strategies to improve the overall tour and engagement experience.• Create content related to philanthropy and engagement for newsletter, direct mail appeals, and all fundraising materials (pitch decks, one-sheets, funding priorities lists, invitations, etcetera)• Create press releases, live television spots in studio, and shelter. Podcasts, and radio spots highlighting all aspects of animal sheltering in Kansas City.
