    Planning more than a decade in advance of needs, the MASI program plans directs, coordinates, plans & resources capital construction works to address the facilities needs associated with the acquisition of new or improved Coast Guard Cutters, Aircraft & small boats. The CG-932-MASI Program plans and funds facilities construction projects that help prepare field sites to receive, operate, and sustain new assets. The MASI Program is in the midst of a $3B effort to homeport 11 new National Security Cutters, 25 Offshore Patrol Cutters, 50+ Fast Response Cutters, 30 new Waterways Commerce Cutters, 60+ H60 Jayhawk Helicopters, 3 new Polar Security Cutters, 18+ C-130-J Aircraft, and dozens of other ice-breakers, small boats & aircraft. Ranging from $2M to $800M, MASI projects include construction of wholly new Cutter piers in Rhode Island and S. Carolina, CERCLA dredging/removal and new cutter wharf construction in Seattle, property acquisition projects in Hawaii, Alaska, Washington & Kentucky, construction of new helicopter hangars in several locations, pier expansion and upgrade projects in California and Alaska, and dozens of other FRC & WCC projects dotting the coastlines & western rivers.
