I’m a Technical Analyst at BlackRock, in a DevOps role.I graduated from the University of Glasgow with a First Class Master’s degree in Software Engineering, where my dissertation explored ways to improve microservice availability using Kubernetes Operators, a topic I continue to research independently.Previously, I worked as a Cloud Software Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, developing microservices for the GreenLake platform using Go, React, Docker, and Kubernetes. I’ve also delivered projects ranging from an AI-powered noise monitor for independent living facilities to web applications built with Python, Java, and JavaScript.Outside of technology, I’m a Scottish Cycling Champion, having trained at the Olympic Development Academy and represented Scotland internationally.I’m passionate about leveraging technology to solve meaningful problems and always keen to take on new challenges.
