As a Clinton Global Initiative Fellow, I am part of a selective cohort of 25 emerging social entrepreneurs dedicated to addressing urgent global challenges. My role involves- Developing a Commitment to Action: My commitment to action is Express, Create, Heal, which empowers those affected by childhood cancer through community-based socio-emotional learning initiatives, fostering coping skills, emotional resilience, and creating more supportive communities- Resource Utilization: Leveraging mentorship, resources, and networks provided by CGI to enhance the impact and reach of my initiatives- Learning and Growth: Engaging in various learning opportunities provided by CGI, including workshops, seminars, and training sessions, to enhance my skills and knowledge- Community Building: Participating in both virtual and in-person events to foster collaboration and strengthen relationships within the fellowship cohort- Impact Measurement: Evaluating and reporting the outcomes of my projects to ensure they meet the goals set out in my Commitment to Action- Participation at the Clinton Global Initiative Annual Meeting: I will have the opportunity for a high-profile platform to launch my commitment to action at the CGI 2024 Annual Meeting in New York City, with the opportunity to gain visibility and support from global leaders and stakeholders.Through this fellowship, I aim to expand the reach of Express, Create, Heal, and further support children and families navigating the challenges of childhood cancer.
