Food and agriculture have woven through my life growing up on a poultry and berry farm in the Fraser Valley, BC. I\'ve had the privilege of working in each stage of our agri-food supply chain, developing an understanding of its complexity, its challenges, and its opportunities. I\'m currently studying food and agricultural economics at the University of Guelph to discover economic models that simultaneously increase the affordability of nutritious whole foods for Canadians while increasing market returns for Canadian producers and eliminating food waste and loss throughout our fresh supply chain.
