About Kyle Franklin

Kyle Franklin excels at learning new systems and conveying his knowledge to others. He is passionate about people and workplace culture, and is noted for his ability to connect with people from vastly different backgrounds. Kyle is praised for his work ethic, flexibility, and passionate communication style. Kyle has attained his MBA with concentrations in Operations and Strategy from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business. He attained high honors, receiving the award for Outstanding Supply Chain Management Masters Student Award. He was also named as a Member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the Business Honors Society. Previously, Kyle graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor\'s degree in Economics. Kyle completed an MBA Summer Internship with Amazon Fulfillment, in one of their enormous DC\'s in Southern California. He completed a first pass yield Process Improvement project that improved key quality metrics by 28%. By leveraging data analysis, relationship building, and intuitive solutions, he was able to effect real change in a short 3 month window. Kyle was a Logistics Operator and Flexitank lead at R.M.I. Global Logistics. When R.M.I. acquired a smaller company and new product line. Kyle was given the lead role on the product. He was responsible for training new vendors across the country, maintaining relationships with customers, as well as day-to-day operations and inventory control. Product revenue grew by nearly 100% and gross margin improved by 70%.Outside of the professional arena, Kyle enjoys playing and coaching rugby. He is currently the Men\'s Director for the Pittsburgh Forge Rugby Club. While working in Singapore, he played for the Singapore Wanderers, winning one National League title, and finishing 2nd in another season. Previously, he acted as Club Captain for the Chicago Riot Rugby Football club, and he helped coach the Chicago North Shore Women’s Rugby Club to a 2014 Division I runner up finish. Kyle has also introduced inner-city youth to rugby through clinics and coaching. Lastly, he\'s a fan of all things on Two Wheels, both bicycles and motorcycles.
