About Kyle Beavin

I am a graduate of the University of Louisville where I earned a degree in marketing with minors in entrepreneurship and management. I have been involved with the University by participating in several student organizations and focusing on my courses. My most involved organizations include Delta Sigma Pi Fraternity, COB Student Council, and the Student Marketing Association. I also had the opportunity to learn and grow while attending a study abroad program and working at an internship while at UofL. Since graduating I hope to establish a career in marketing and branding, with the possibility of eventually operating my own business or businesses.

   I have been working closely with DBM Global through its subsidiary GWICC for the past year. In this role I have been responsible for handling procurement functions for GWICC along with other subsidiaries. Functions- IT Procurement for end users- Identifying appropriate equipment specs based on user experiences and roles- Working across multiple departments for new user onboardings- Cultivating vendor relationships to ensure we maintain quality - Creating documentation that allows us to evaluate our current spend- Maintaining an appropriate level of customer service with end users- Developing strategies to counter-act supply chain issues created by COVID-19- PC Refresh Projects to ensure quality and security for our employees- Managing deployment of equipment through multiple time zones- Assisting with local infrastructure projects- Assisting with the decommissioning and disposal of old equipment and facilities
