About Kyle Tillotson

Within my 5 years of working at Texas Roadhouse, I was able to learn a lot of skills such as schedule making, training new employees on various positions, and promoting Texas Roadhouse. While doing these skills, I was also recognized as employee of the month.While studying at Northern Illinois University, I have consistently been on the dean\'s list and have learned I also have passion for marketing and sales. For my marketing class we used a program called \"RNMKRS\" and I scored within the top 5% of all students competing which made me a \"Rising Star Student.\"Interning and currently working part time with State Farm opened my eyes to the insurance industry and reminded me to be very open-minded to every opportunity available. With the help of amazing trainers and management, I\'ve been able to successfully work claims to their furthest point, make outbound calls to customers and shops, present a 30-minute presentation to executives, and develop many professional relationships. Interning for State Farm has taken me out of my comfort zone and I\'m very grateful I was able to develop skills I would\'ve never been able to otherwise.All of my past experiences have made me open-minded to any opportunities available, but I currently have a huge interest in the management and marketing fields and my future goal is to move out west and continue my career in Arizona.
