About Kyle Thorson

With over seven years of experience in HR strategy and data insights, I lead the business operations and HR strategy team for the PXT Capability and Impact team in Global Operations HR at Amazon. My role is to build the rhythm of business, plan organizational headcount and budget needs, and provide strategic partnership to our director. I also lead a small team to support our operational metrics, analytic needs, and business reviews across the organization.In addition to my full-time role at Amazon, I own and run a social business that supports local non-profits and organizations through coffee and tea. Archives Coffee House is my passion project, where I aim to create a positive impact on the UND campus and Greater Grand Forks community. I enjoy working with both data and people, and I care deeply about improving the employee and customer experience.
