ABOUT KYLE THOMPSON

I love combining progressive software engineering approaches, working closely with real users and creating ownership of outcomes within inclusive teams to deliver high quality products that solve real problems. I can most often be found pushing for more frequent releases to production and more direct interaction with actual users and the teams working on delivering for them.I help teams and organisations with deliverable technology strategy, ensuring that user and business needs are understood, incentives are aligned and senior leaders are bought into delivering value iteratively in very frequent releases.I have experience delivering large scale digital transformation, leading teams and managing IT budgets giving an indepth understanding of how technology delivery, user needs and business drivers / constraints all can combine to produce a successful outcome and how to influence people to change when they have the three areas set up to work against each other.I love working with technology and seeing what a rewarding career pathway it can be motivates me to improve how inclusive it is as an industry. I have led and been part of several Diversity and Inclusion groups to try and highlight the issues faced by many groups and be part of the solution, giving as many people as possible the opportunity to work in such a fulfilling profession.
