I am a seasoned tax leader who has dedicated my career over the past two decades to helping companies and investors devise solutions to their most complex challenges. My practice is devoted to serving corporations, private equity, pension fund, and sovereign wealth sponsors with their domestic and cross-border M&A initiatives, focused exclusively in the oil and gas, mining, renewable energy and public utility sectors. A significant portion of my role has also been in advising on complex carve-outs and joint ventures, and capital structure planning.I am hands-on at every phase of a transaction’s life cycle, offering my in-depth expertise in buy- and sell-side engagements, integration planning and stand-up support. Helping my clients realize tangible tax benefits while staying within budget and time constraints is a passion of mine, and I pride myself in being both proactive and responsive to the evolving and rapidly changing needs of an engagement and industry landscape.Recent engagements include sell side support on a global renewable energy transaction, joint venture planning involving U.S. chemical assets, and buy side support for a private equity client looking to invest in exploration and production assets. My practice has increasingly grown focused on the identification of cash tax refund opportunities and helping clients understand the unique tax aspects of investing in renewable and clean energy.
