ABOUT KYLE SAMSON
I’m a recent B.Sc.(Honours) Biotechnology graduate from Queen’s University (April 2025) with a strong interest in how science, data, and technology can support effective public programs and policy. I will be beginning a Master of Public Administration at Queen’s University’s School of Policy Studies this fall. Outside of school, I help run operations for a seasonal rafting outfitter in Ottawa. In this role, I manage staff and scheduling, oversee safety and logistics, and lead outreach, advertising, and partnerships. It has been a hands‑on opportunity to build leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. I’m also interested in research and policy communication. I have co‑created and co‑hosted a sports radio show as well as a podcast focused on AI, science, and policy, and I maintain a personal blog where I write short articles on issues affecting Canada.
