About Kyle Rozanitis

I\'m a data engineering leader and solutions architect who has built data platforms from the ground up, led engineering teams, and developed a sharp understanding of how organizations evaluate and adopt data infrastructure. I started my career at Morningstar DBRS, where I built ETL pipelines and developed features for a proprietary cash flow modeling tool used to evaluate and rate structured credit products. I quickly advanced before joining Carbon Arc as their first data engineer. There, I evaluated and implemented the company\'s data infrastructure, defined engineering best practices, and built the ETL pipelines powering Carbon Arc\'s flagship product — handling petabytes of alternative data. I grew into a leadership role, hiring and mentoring data engineers, partnering with the CCO on data governance policies, leading a successful data migration, and ultimately leading the Data Platform team, reporting directly to the CTO. I\'m currently a Principal Solutions Architect at Elastic, where I help organizations evaluate and implement data infrastructure for use cases ranging from cybersecurity and observability to fraud detection and agentic systems. The role has broadened my perspective on how technical and business stakeholders make infrastructure decisions across diverse environments, and strengthened my ability to bridge that gap.
