About Kyle Roberts

Within my current role in RSM’s Technical Accounting Consulting group I assist a wide range of global clients with accounting and financial due diligence consulting for a range of areas including cross-border transactions, GAAP conversions, carve-outs, IPO and SPAC due diligence, capital market transactions, audit readiness, foreign currency matters and more. Within my previous role in the Capital Markets Financial Accounting Advisory Services Group at EY London I assisted clients and audit teams with US GAAP and IFRS reporting standards, complex transactions, GAAP conversions and diagnostics, M&A and IPO related work, consolidation models, financial reporting (including implementation of new accounting standards), process documentation, and SOX related work (assessing control environments, identification of controls/control gaps, design, and operating effectiveness of controls). I have served various clients in Europe and throughout the world, working with diverse and international teams. As a former senior associate in KPMG\'s Dallas Audit practice, I have experience working on the audits of several global publicly traded companies. I have also worked on a variety of large and small private clients. I provided professional audit services in accordance with PCAOB standards and U.S. GAAP. My work experience includes SEC Filings - annual audits and quarterly reviews of financial information, testing of internal controls in accordance with SOX, and other assurance agreed upon procedures. My experience comes from a variety of industries including: consumer markets and industrial businesses, technology, manufacturing, retail, media & advertising, shipping, entertainment, restaurants, and biotech. I graduated from Baylor University cum laude with a BBA and Masters degree in accounting with a concentration in finance. I am also interested in finance, economics, consulting, advisory, forensics, financial planning and analysis, entrepreneurship, leadership, investing, and current events.
