First-level leadership responsibility for 6 Quality Assurance personnel and second-level leadership responsibility for 19 Quality Control personnel.• Responsible for the Quality & Food Safety Element for the Midland Nutrition & BioSciences Operations Strategy yearly objectives.• Lead and coordinate all yearly site audits; including customers audits (Pharmaceutical and food), regulatory audits (State of Michigan (MDARD), halal, and kosher), certification audits (EXCiPACT, EFfCi, ISO9001, and FSSC), and the Midland site internal audit.• Certified FSSC ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 22716 internal auditor; conducting audits of IFF facilities in Maine, Louisiana, and West Virginia.• Direct involvement with all customer complaints via Salesforce, with direct customer contact. Review and approve customer complaint investigations and issue customer complaint response letters.• Leader of the Root Cause Investigation (RCI) team utilizing TapRooT software to ensure all unplanned events are investigated and root causes determined to eliminate repeat events utilizing CAPA.• Obtained the following Quality Assurance certifications:o FSSC v6.0 and ISO Internal Auditoro ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor for Quality Management Systems Trainingo ISO 22716 Internal Auditor
