About Kyle Price
Most retail executives live on one side of the business. I\'ve spent 20+ years building experience on both. Operations. Merchandising. P&L. People. I\'ve owned them all, and I\'ve learned that the leaders who can connect those dots are the ones who actually move a business forward. I\'ve run businesses with $2B+ in revenue, led field organizations of hundreds of stores, and restructured categories, teams, and strategies that weren\'t working — turning them into engines of growth. At Family Dollar, I delivered $150M in revenue growth and $58M in margin improvement in under 15 months. At Food Lion, I led the company\'s largest division and exceeded sales plan by $50M. At The Fresh Market, I walked into a challenged operation and produced measurable improvement across sales, shrink, labor, and customer experience — all within seven months. But the results I\'m most proud of aren\'t the numbers. They\'re the 50+ leaders I\'ve developed and promoted, the cultures I\'ve helped build, and the organizations I\'ve left stronger than I found them. I believe great retail leadership sits at the intersection of strategy and execution — and that the best operators are also the best merchants, and vice versa. That rare combination is what I bring to every role. Beyond the business, I serve on the boards of the YMCA of South Hampton Roads and the Norfolk State University Foundation, and previously served as Board Member and Audit Committee Chair for the Girl Scouts of Colonial Coast. Governance, community investment, and developing the next generation of leaders matter deeply to me — inside and outside the boardroom.
