   As a Subcontract Manager, I am responsible for a range of complex contracts. This includes assessing risk and taking action to mitigate risk at all stages of subcontract formation, performance, and close-out. I prepare RFPs tailored to specific requirements and evaluate proposals. In collaboration with Program Managers, I develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations. My responsibilities include preparing subcontract documentation that meets Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPSR) requirements and includes detailed cost and price analyses.I am responsible for monitoring subcontractor performance and initiating corrective action as needed. When requirements change, I execute contract modifications to ensure the subcontract remains in compliance. I also perform close-out activities. In addition to these tasks, I provide advice and support to Program Managers and Cost Estimators in developing proposals, including developing Basis of Estimates and Statements of Work.In addition to my individual responsibilities, I manage a team of subcontract analysts who report directly to me. I oversee their work and provide guidance to ensure all subcontract management and administration duties are carried out effectively and efficiently. This includes support in assessing risk, preparing RFPs and evaluating subcontractor proposals, developing negotiation strategies, and preparing CPSR compliant subcontract documentation. I provide mentorship and support as they monitor subcontractor performance, execute contract modifications, and perform close-out activities.Overall, my role involves not only managing my own workload, but also effectively leading and supporting a team of subcontract analysts to ensure the smooth and successful execution of subcontract management and administration duties. I also have the opportunity to independently conceive of and lead special projects and process improvement activities with organization-wide impact.
