Full-stack Software Engineer @Idox

At Idox I am a Full-Stack Software Engineer where I work in both the Sprint and Support teams creating new functionality for our products at the request of the customers as well as providing code solutions to system bugs and abnormalities. I provide support to the full range of council and government systems and software used by our customers fixing broken functionality and bugs. I also add new functionality as requested by the customers. The technology stack I work with daily includes the Full-Stack, from modern technologies such as React, Tailwind CSS, Next.js, Docker and AWS to supporting older legacy systems using Smarty templated JavaScript, JQuery and AJAX on the Front-End to PHP in the Back-End, as well as running queries on our PostgreSQL databases. In this role I also work on different live and test servers providing support to both the customers and our QA team, restoring databases for QA and deploying systems to be tested. I work closely with the customer facing team in order to understand customer needs fully and provide the best code solutions.
