About Kyle Michelson
The Accumulate Protocol is a Layer 1 blockchain that specializes in the cross-chain organization and management and of identity, data, and security. My role as VP of Technology is to research use cases and manage a solutions pipeline that takes products from ideation to proof of concept. I\'m especially interested in IoT networks, tokenization of real-world assets, and cross-chain solutions. Previously, I worked as a research scientist at UT Austin where I developed micro-3D printed cellular scaffolds to study neuron pathfinding, 3D printed lab-on-fiber systems to characterize cellular communication, and Raman-based sensors to detect contaminants in water. I was also CTO of Lab 91 where I leveraged my skills in materials science, synthetic organic chemistry, and electrostatics to build revolutionary techniques for the large-scale transfer of 2D materials like graphene and MoS2 for the semiconductor industry. I currently work as an advisor.
