ABOUT KYLE MENKEN
My team works with municipal partners, funding agencies, and other conservation authorities to implement green infrastructure stormwater management practices. We also conduct studies, develop guidance documents, and deliver training to facilitate broader uptake of green infrastructure. I spend most of my time writing, editing and proofreading reports, studies, scripts, blogs and generally helping to promote our research and services. I also coordinate the operation and maintenance of stormwater management facilities, photograph and film our sites, and fill in gaps as they arise. As part of the Sustainable Technologies Evaluation Program’s (STEP) water collaborative, my team works with STEP partners Toronto and Region Conservation Authority and Lake Simcoe and Region Conservation Authority to develop decision-making tools, to conduct stormwater-related research, to provide guidance, and to deliver training.
