About Kyle Mathewson
My name is Kyle and I am a professional in the sports marketing/partnerships industry. Growing up in the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia) I always had a passion for sports since the age of 5, especially as a former basketball player. As I grew older, I found another passion for marketing. Being able to combine those two passions into a professional career is something that wakes me up every single morning excited to work. I currently work for BetMGM on the brand side of the business, and also have sports partnerships experience with both an NFL and MLS franchise. My favorite part about the industry is when brands and sports teams build successful partnerships, which lead to brands increasing their presence in the sports industry by broadening their market reach with other sports and entertainment properties.

Currently co-managing BetMGM’s partnerships with the Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Penguins, Tennessee Titans, Washington Nationals, & NFL Canada.• Leading the ad creation & development of tracking links for partner promotions across all partnerships in the NFL, MLB, NBA, WNBA & NHL.• Pulling media reports from relo metrics to track sponsor media value, engagement, & impression numbers.• Periodically creating end of season recap decks for each league, as well as creating new planning decks & documents before the beginning of each season.• Assisting our department with gathering BI data & partner surveys (via Wakefield) at the end of each season.• Leading & executing the financial/accounting process for teams, leagues, & hospitality contracts (suites, experiences, etc.)• Managing our partnership creative folder; providing the design team new approved imagery each season from our T&L partners, brand guidelines, & logos before each season.
